Food and Drink

The First Floor Foodhall

The main eating area is in the Departure Lounge so you now need a Boarding Card to gain access.  (It has recently changed, no more plane spotting from the Windmill bar).

The food is varied and the staff are polite.  Choose between the self service restaurant, Wetherspoons's "The Finningley Windmill" (01302 625141), Costa Coffee (01302 775004) and the dazzling Bar 08. All serve food and drink that will keep you fed and happy!

The Ground Floor Feeders

If you're "dropping off" or in need of a post flight pick me up there are a couple of useful places on the ground floor, some opening at 4 a.m.  Forget Wetherspoons's "The Amy Johnson" (01302 625141), it never appears to be open.  Personally I prefer Costa Coffee (01302 775008) and now that the Spar has closed the ground floor looks deserted!  However there is a rumour that WH Smiths will be opening in the old Spar space. Wait out.

Off Site Food

The team here have a few personal recommendations subject to opening hours, please check by 'phone so that you do not miss your flight or pick up:

Hare and Tortoise Public House, 329 Bawtry Road, DN4 7PB. (01302) 861901. If travelling from Doncaster on the A638 it is at Parrott's Corner traffic lights, about 10 minutes from the airport car park.  The food is top notch, up to date and beautifully prepared and presented.  Guest beers are ace.

Percy's at Yorkshire Caravans of Bawtry Ltd, This is a fine little Cafe Bistro that I use on a regular basis, lots of fresh food at sensible prices and in pleasant surrounds.  It is on Doncaster Road
